Bush League is 3 DJs consisting of my brother and 2 of his friends. Their website provides information about the music they mix, their news and events and a podcast download.
It runs on a crude, early version of the Biscuit framework that I built in PHP (see last item for info). This provides them with content management features for their news and events, music charts and podcast pages. It also features public commenting on each podcast allowing fans to give them feedback.
The site uses Web 2.0 features for navigation.

Home Bills is a web application built on the Biscuit 2.0 framework for managing bills shared with roommates. It is currently only setup for my personal use, but I have plans to open it up for public registration and use.
Users can record the payments they have made on bills, which are then split equally between all members of the household. It provides a summary by month showing all bills paid by each member and the shares each member owes. It provides balance totals, a reconciliation summary to show how much each user owes to each other as well as a summary of the average shares of each bill over the total time it has recorded payments. It also allows recording of reconciliation payments to keep track of when users have settled up with each other and deduct that from the balances owing.
This is an interactive game developed in Flash for promoting work-place safety as part of the Worker's Safety and Compensation Commission of the NWT and Nunavut's Go Safe program. A custom engine was built to suit the client's specific needs.
The game also includes an informational website for those not interested in playing through the game. The game was targeted at children and users lacking in computer and/or gaming experience.
The game won first-prize winner in the Audio Visual category of the AASCIF awards (American Association of State Compensation Insurance Funds).

The Not Us campaign is an initiative implemented by the GNWT Department of Justice to encourage people in the northern communities to rise up against drugs as it is a serious probem in many of the Northern Communities.
The main site, running on Drupal, features a modern, edgy design that was a challenge to code up on the Drupal theming system. The highlight, however, is the custom poster maker accessible from the right sidebar. This is external to the Drupal framework, running on custom programming using components taken from my Biscuit framework (see last item for details). Similar to the Obacion Me website, it allows a user to upload their own photo, provide custom text and produce their own custom campaign posters they can use to promote the anti-drug initiative in their community.

This website consists largely of static content, but also provides a member registration and management system as well as a full content management with a rich text editor. It was built on the Biscuit Framework version 1.0.
The newest feature addition to this website was online payment through PayPal Web Payments Pro, allowing seamless integration with the existing registration system. This site was the first in which I incorporated an online payment system. It proved an interesting challenge that I met with great success.

This is an older site that I built for a friend as a freelance project. It runs on an older code base using old-style table layouts, but sports a complete league management system including player registration, game scheduling, team management, league stats and more.
The newest feature additions include integration with the NWT Soccer Association website to verify membership status as well as incorporation of divisions that teams and games can be assigned to.
This site has recently been updated to share a single login session with the NWT Soccer Association website for improved integration of users and their information.

This website represents one of the best projects I've had the pleasure of being a part of at Kellett Communications. Running on Drupal 5, the key feature of this website is it's interactive map. This feature was a first for me as well as Kellett and was an interesting and challenging learning curve. Utilizing OpenLayers, an open source mapping canvas, combined with a 3rd party hosted MapServer, it provides a means for users to browse the many different layers of data the Nunavut Planning Commission has to provide.

The Land and Water boards of the NWT wanted new websites all running on a platform that allowed them to:
This was accomplished using Wordpress' multisite feature.
A fairly simple Wordpress site with some nice visual and interactive elements to help brighten up an otherwise very basic informational website.

Biscuit is a Rapid Application Development framework for PHP that I developed in my spare time with some ideas/contributions from Kellett Communications. It is a unique framework that strives to encompass the best open source ideas in one tidy package. I developed it out of a desire to learn and improve my PHP skills and to provide me with a framework that works the way I want.
Biscuit is built on MVC standards and is designed to allow the developer to focus all their time on deliverables without having to be concerned with the underlying nuts and bolts of the application. It provides a great deal of power and flexibility and can allow the development of anything from a basic CMS-driven website to a complete custom web application. If you'd like to know more about it, please contact me.
Biscuit is fully open source under the GNU Lesser General Public license. It does not currently have a support site with download links, but a copy can be obtained by contacting me.
